Josh the Statesman

Josh loves to travel. Seeing new places and meeting new people prompt him to use every resource possible to obtain as much travel currency as possible. This includes using his Delta Skymiles American Express for almost every purchase and taking the voucher whenever possible!

So, what major country capitals has Josh been to? Let's check it out!

Bangkok, Thailand
Cape Town, South Africa (Legislative capital
Paris, France
Budapest, Hungary
Vienna, Austria
London, England
Copenhagen, Denmark
Berlin, Germany
Dublin, Ireland
Belfast, Northern Ireland
Moscow, Russia,
Helsinki, Finland
Tallinn, Estonia
Riga, Latvia
Brussels, Belguim (also the headquarters of the European Union)
Washington DC, USA
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Managua, Nicaragua

Wow, I think I've been to more foreign capitals than President Bush has visited during his whole time in office. And he gets to travel for free! What's the deal with that?

More to come . . . . .

As always,

Josh

You Allow

Sweeping dust under the rug
Our clever plans seem successful
Wash the dirt from my hands
And escape without a trace

Like the eyes of Dr. Eckelberg
You have seen it all
Not missing a detail
Our deeds have carried much weight

Why have you permitted our evil,
Our acts of hate and jealousy?
I think you should crush us without haste
But nevertheless, you allow

You allow us to try and fail
You allow us to touch and get burned
You allow us to love and have it unreturned
You allow us choice

48 hours in Paris

two lovely Parisian ladies
Kara and I at one of the beautiful parks
Looking at the sky
the tower at night

The tower at dusk.

Talk about a quick trip.

I flew from Phoenix to Paris for a quick weekend getaway. 48 hours in Paris and it was life changing. What an amazing city. I also was able to reconnect with my Parisian friend Siham.

Good times.

If you haven't been to Paris yet, you really should go.

Check out the pictures above.
