Good times in Peru

I went to Peru with some absolutely amazing people. Ben and Sara Z, Rich H, and Brittany G from Madison, Wisconsin were on this trip with me. And they definitely contributed to the enjoyment of the trip. We had some absolutely hilarious moments (as you can see from the pictures!)

the people of Peru

Beyond the beautiful natural scenery, the most amazing part about Peru is the people. I spent time in Lima, Pucallpa, La Merced, and several other communities and found that Peruvian people are extremely kind and welcoming. They are kind and their smile melts your heart.

The children of Peru are simply adorable. It almost makes you want to find a Peruvian wife and start a family of your own ;)

Some of the families didn't have much in terms of physical wealth, but their hospitality shined brightly. The conversations were warm. One Peruvian family even told me that I look like Tom Cruise! Heck yeah! I'll take that comment any day of the week!

If you know any Peruvians, you should call them up and appreciate them.

The scenes of Peru

I just returned from my first trip to South America, and wow, I definitely left with good vibrations! Peru is an incredible country of adventure and beauty. Around every corner is mystery and danger. The danger is that you might never want to return home after you try the amazing food.

Peru holds a great deal of variety. The pictures above capture the various parts of Peru.

If you get a chance, you really should visit Peru.
