my two new favorite songs

Recently two songs have captured my attention and conquered my ipod playlist.

The first is a lovely ballad called "Fidelity" by Regina Spektor.




If you haven't heard it, you need to download it immediately without thought or doubt. It is a original tune at it's core. It's sweet notes address one of the oldest issues of our world: love. But after listening to it, you will appreciate her fresh take on this age-old topic.



Next is "Dawning of the Day" by Jill Phillips.



If you like a great blend of solo vocals and choir, you will love this inspiring song. When I first heard it in the car in Birmingham, my eyes immediately perked up and I wanted to join the nearest choir. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
